Girls school set alight in Shangla

PESHAWAR - A girls primary school reduced to ashes after it was set on fire by militants in Bisham locality of Shangla district early Sunday.
According to police, unidentified terrorists set ablaze Government Girls Primary School Shenai, which was built in 1990 under people’s works programme and was not in use for the last 24 years.
Locals used this school for stocking grass and other animal fodder. SHO Bisham Police Station Syed Habib Shah said it was early in the morning when the school was set on fire and within minutes it turned into ashes.
He said police had registered an FIR against unidentified militants and investigation was underway into the incident.
