Two Maine men were arrested in Sturbridge Saturday for after police found them in possession of a large quantity of heroin. Police pulled Brandon Hanson, 27, of Brownville, Maine, over at 6 p.m. Saturday for several motor vehicle infractions. State troopers said they found a large amount of heroin on the passenger in the vehicle, Joshua Trowbridge 30, of Milo, Maine, as well as in the vehicle itself. Both men were arrested and charged with trafficking in a Class A substance. Hanson was also charged with possession of a Class B substance, speeding, failure to stay within marked lanes and failure to signal.Trowbridge also had an outstanding warrant for larceny, according to police. Bail was set at $5,040 for both men. They will be arraigned Monday in Dudley District Court.
