Panto queen Twink has revealed that she's been flooded with offers since pulling out of the Jack and the Beanstalk panto in Limerick earlier this month.

Twink, real name Adele King, pulled out of the production with her dog Teddy sighting "artistic differences" and says she's enjoying having a Christmas off for once.

"The week the ship went down, by the Saturday I had four offers for panto - if I wish to do it I will but I was walking my dogs and looking at the mouldy weather and I was baking and watching the X Factor with the dogs and I thought there's a lot to be said for this. I have got a taste of the good life," she explained to the Herald.

The 63-year-old also has revealed she's shed a massive five-and-a-half stone after bringing happiness back to her life.

"I've spent a lifetime in dance studios and gyms but this time my ex-trainer just said to me, 'When you take all the snow off the mountains, the lovely, shapely hills are underneath,"' she said. "I got rid of five-and-a-half stone of snow, - it was part of the whole process of getting out of the career situation I'd been in for the last while."

Keith Duffy replaced her in the Limerick panto but she'll be turning to TV this Christmas to co-host RTE's The Year In Review insisting that people should "watch out".

"I got out of a situation. I was never one to let the grass grow under my feet for too long. I'm back, so watch out," she said.
