8 prisoners to be hanged in Punjab within next 48 hours
Murderers of common Pakistanis getting what they deserved, 17 to be hanged in Pakistan next week
LAHORE: (Dunya News) – As Pakistan continues to punish the murderers of its common people and young kids, 8 are to be hanged in Punjab within next 48 hours, reported Dunya News. 4 of these terrorists, Zahid, Ahsen, Kamran and Umar, are currently imprisoned in Kot Lakhpat Jail, Lahore. They were involved in attacks on Gujrat Army Camp and office of s secret agency in Multan.
17 terrorists will be hanged throughout the country during the next week. Death warrants of 2 of the terrorists belonging to banned outfits have been signed in Sukkur. These two will be hanged at 6 am on Tuesday 23rd of December.
Hangings at Adiyala Jail have been postponed due to security risk. Sources claim that these hangings might be moved to other district jails.
Gallows and lever has been prepared at Machh Jail but death warrants have not yet been signed. 97 criminals of high treason are imprisoned at Machh Jail currently. 41 of these cases are in High Court, 41 are in Supreme Court, 1 case is being heard in Federal Shariah Court while mercy petitions of 14 of the terrorists have been submitted with the President of Pakistan. Jail officials say that they will proceed with the hangings immediately after receiving the death warrants.
