Indoreans have a lot of capability
During my visit to Indore, I interacted with many college students and I am impressed with their talent. Given the right exposure, I am sure they have the capability to achieve a lot.
The entertainment industry is very unpredictable
I have been in the industry for 10 years now, but my struggle has not ended yet.
The entertainment industry is very unpredictable. One move can give you overnight stardom or lead to your downfall. I remember when I did Awarapan, people from the industry told me that it will be a benchmark in my career and that a lot of movie offers will follow, but nothing of that sort happened. In fact, I sat jobless for years figuring out what went wrong. But one has to keep trying and that’s what I did which has helped me sustain.

Star kids have it easy
While I am still struggling to find a place for myself in the industry, it is easier for star kids. Attaining stardom is a piece of cake if you are a star kid. RJ-ing over VJ-ing There is no scope left in the VJ industry in India. Young girls and boys from different cities ask me about taking up VJ-ing as a career, but I have to be honest and tell them that they should change their decision. Instead, they should try their luck in radio.
Glamour industry is now serious business
Over the years, the glamour industry has gained acceptance and is now being considered as a serious profession by many. It is good for youngsters who are looking for a career in the glamour world. I remember, when I started off, I had to go through a lot of hardships. My own family used to look down upon me for being a part of this industry. But now the scene has changed. Good money could be the reason for this change, and when money is mixed with fame, it gains popularity.
