Oil firms to implement big-time price rollbacks Sunday

(Updated 3:32 p.m.) On the last weekend before Christmas, motorists are getting another gift in the form of a big-time fuel price rollback.

As of early Saturday afternoon, Petron announced its rollback would take effect 12:01 a.m. Sunday, GMA News' Julius Segovia tweeted.

The rollbacks include:

- P1.10 per liter for gasoline
- P1.35 per liter for diesel
- P1.40 per liter for kerosene

"News TV Live" later reported other oil firms also announced they are going to cut prices of their oil products. These include:

Shell:

P1.10/L - Gasoline
P1.35/L - Diesel
P1.40/L - Kerosene

Phoenix Petroleum:

P1.10/L - Gasoline
P1.35/L - Diesel

Eastern Petroleum:

P1.10/L - Gasoline
P1.30/L - Diesel

They said price rollbacks will take effect between midnight to 6 a.m. Sunday.
