With 2014 coming to an end, the Bollywood brigade is all set to march to various award shows scheduled for the yearend. The season kicked off on Thursday with the Big Star Entertainment Awards 2014 held in Mumbai.

The evening belonged to the Bachchans, as both father Amitabh and son Abhishek were honoured. While Big B bagged the award for the Best Entertainer in Social Drama Film (Male) category for Bhoothnath Returns, son Abhishek got the Most Entertaining Actor in a Comedy Film (Male) award for Happy New Year. Young faces came out in full force, bagging maximum awards in various categories.

Arjun Kapoor received the Most Entertaining Actor award in an action film for Gunday while Siddharth Malhotra was Most Entertaining Actor in a romantic film for Hasee Toh Phasee.

The evening belonged to the Bachchans.

New singer Ankit Tiwari bagged the Most Entertaining Singer award for Galliyan from Ek Villain. Biggies such as Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor, Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha graced the do. Shah Rukh Khan won the Most Entertaining Actor of 2014 for Happy New Year and PC bagged the Most Entertaining Actress for Mary Kom.

Vishal Bharadwaj's Haider defeated Happy New Year to bag the Most Entertaining Film of the Year award. Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon got Most Entertaining Debut Actor/Actress award for Heropanti. While Jacqueline Fernandez walked away with the Most Entertaining Dancer award for Jumme Ki Raat from Kick, Shahid Kapoor got Most Entertaining Actor in a Social Drama Film (Haider) and Riteish Deshmukh Most Entertaining Actor award in a Thriller for Ek Villain.
