Montreal police say they have made arrests in connection to two separate recent incidents.

A 20-year-old man surrendered to police Friday and will be charged with attempted murder Saturday for this week’s Pointe Claire bar shooting. The man is not known to police.

Two men were shot in the early-morning incident which took place at a bar on the St. John Blvd. at the Trans Canada.

On Friday police also made an arrest related to a separate incident on Walkley in N.D.G., which occurred one day earlier.

A 21-year old man was stabbed in the abdomen Thursday night.

Police say the suspect, who's 52, surrendered and is facing charges including armed assault and uttering threats.
