A video aiming to show that Irish dancing isn’t just for girls is leading people on a merry dance on Facebook.
Riverdance lead dancer James Greenan created "the first online jam session" to show "that the skill and competitiveness required to compete is on a par with other athletic forms".
The Co Cavan man got the idea after he and some friends posted short videos on Facebook showing off their moves.
Greenan then posted a video of himself dancing 16 bars of rhythm as a demonstration, with a caption encouraging others to follow his lead.
Hundreds of male dancers have been posting over the past few months, from Ireland and from across the world.
Greenan compiled the footage into a clip called #LADjam, which nearly 100,000 people have already viewed on Facebook.
He plans to make another montage of the top 20 clips.
