Robbie Rogers: Why am I the only gay pro footballer?

The world's highest profile openly gay footballer says he thinks he could play in the UK now he's out.

Robbie Rogers quit the professional game in England in 2013 only to return three months later with American side LA Galaxy.

"It took the experience of coming out to get people's reaction and I think I could come back here and play," explains the former Leeds United winger.

The 27-year-old says it is starting to get easier for gay people in the sport here and in America, but there is still a way to go.

Newsbeat introduced him to two gay men playing Sunday League football in the UK.
