Rite Aid Corp. (RAD) Leaped To A 4-Month High After Strong Q3 Report

Rite Aid Corp. (RAD) reported third quarter EPS of $0.10 Thursday morning, up from $0.04 in the prior year period. Analysts expected EPS of $0.05. The company expects to report full year 2015 EPS of $0.31 to $0.37, while analysts are expecting EPS of $0.31.

Rite Aid gapped open sharply higher Thursday, but was range-bound throughout the session. The stock ended the day with a gain of 0.72 at $6.78 on strong volume. Rite Aid jumped to over a 4-month high and re-crossed its 200-day moving average.
