After mesmerising US audience, CinePlay, a new genre of cinema creatively mentored by actor Nandita Das is now sweeping passengers of Jet Airways off their feet.
“CinePlay presents stories from theatre in a cinematic form and we are positive that passengers on board Jet Airways will truly relish this exclusive experience,” CEO and CinePlay founder Subodh Maskara said.
“This is a one of a kind partnership and we see tremendous value in it,” he added.
CinePlay ‘Between the Lines’, in which Nandita of ‘Earth’ and ‘Bawandar’ fame, was a lead actor and wowed viewers in the USA recently.
Mohan Rakesh’s ‘Adhe Adhure’ and ‘Between the Lines’, which Nandita co-authored with Divya Jagdale, were being made exclusively available to the airlines passengers on board.

CinePlay is a new genre of cinema which weaves the magic of theatre and the power of cinema. Seven productions have been completed and another 12 are in the pipeline, Maskara said.
The CinePlays are currently presented across the country and internationally at various venues in addition to its dedicated VOD platform, he added.
