Video: Bucks' O.J. Mayo misses reverse layup in ridiculous fashion

Milwaukee Bucks guard O.J. Mayo missed a reverse layup in comical fashion against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night.

Milwaukee Bucks guard O.J. Mayo missed a reverse layup in comical fashion against the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night.

With the Bucks trailing by nine points late in the first quarter, Mayo drove from the right corner and attacked the basket, creating enough space for what appeared to be an easy make once he reversed under the rim.

Instead, this happened:

Mayo scored the first 12 points of the game for the Bucks before his layup miss. He came into the game averaging 10.9 points per game. Milwaukee held on to defeat Sacramento 108-107 to improve to 14-13. The Kings, who fired coach Mike Malone on Sunday night, fell to 11-15.

The game marked the return of Kings center DeMarcus Cousins after he missed the previous 10 games with viral meningitis.
