Twink may have been “released” from her role as the Dame, and yet somehow Christmas has not been cancelled. Sold a jar of magic beans in exchange for his livelihood, Jack may have made a seemingly doomed investment, something that Robert C Kelly Productions and UCH may empathise with. Still, hopes are high that something will sprout from this updating of the classic pantomime. Richie Hayes, Leanne Moore, George McMahon and Myles Breen all remain, recently joined by the ever-entertaining Keith Duffy as “the baddie”.
