48th mando festival: Mando Mogi bags award for 2014

Mando award 2014 was awarded to Mando Mogi, Margao, at the annual 48th Mando Festival organized by the Goa Cultural and Social Centre. The event held at Kala Academy witnessed 43 troupes participating in six different categories.

PANAJI: Mando award 2014 was awarded to Mando Mogi, Margao, at the annual 48th Mando Festival organized by the Goa Cultural and Social Centre. The event held at Kala Academy witnessed 43 troupes participating in six different categories.
In the children’s category, Sant Antonicho Svadik Nad bagged the first prize, while Little Flower of Jesus High School, Calangute, and Vernecho Pormoll, Verna, claimed the second and third prizes, respectively.

In the teenagers’ category, Oll’lechim Mogrim, Orlim, won the first prize while Sanat Cruz Firgojecho Nad and Mapxechim Motiam, Mapusa, bagged the second and third prizes, respectively.
