Last Updated 18 December 2014, 14:56 IST

Goethe-Institut/ Max Mueller Bhavan is presenting an event called ‘Open Studio-Process Presentation: Bhinna Vinyasa - Multiple Assemblages’ with bangaloREsident Martin Lutz on December 19, 7 pm at Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts, Wilson Gardens.

German sound artist Martin Lutz will create the soundscape for Open Studio-Process Presentation of ‘Bhinna Vinyasa’.

The project will then be further developed and be presented elsewhere in India and internationally.

‘Bhinna Vinyasa’ could roughly be translated as multiple assemblages. Taking inspiration from ongoing changes in the nature of cities, maps, people's lives etc., this process presentation of R&D for ‘Bhinna Vinyasa’ will offer an experience where live performance is enhanced with the multi-phonic soundscape.

In an allegorical narrative of human situations of migration and journeys of individuals and communities from one location to another, ‘Bhinna Vinyasa’ juxtaposes multiple realities alluding to varied locations.

The inner journeys and transformations that happen to individuals are often more profound than the external migration of people who are often forced to choose one location and a set of conditions.

The artistic direction is by Jayachandran Palazhy and the choreography is by Jayachandran Palazhy and members of Attakkalari Repertory. Music/sound design is by Martin Lutz (Germany).

Light and projection design is Shymon Chelad. Image Courtesy is Mirco Arcese from Italy and the technical support is by Niranjan Gokhale, TransMedia Technologies.

The dancers include Hemabharathy Palani, Meghna Nambiar, Parth Bharadwaj, Sylvester Mardi, Nihal Pasha, Anindita Ghosh and Akshata Joshi.
The entry is free.
