Jamshedpur Traffic Police gear up to make CCTV more effective

SSP Amol V. Homkar said that with the re-positioning of CCTV they would be better equipped to capture the registration number of a violator’s vehicle. The parameters covered for prosecuting a traffic violator include triple-riding, helmet-less riding, rash driving, breaking signal and parking at a no-parking zone.The cameras will not only help in controllingtraffic, they will also help in quick identification of errant riders involved in accidents.
