Navrachana defeats Rotary Godhra boys in Times T20 Soccer tournament

VADODARA: A strong Navrachana team was a favourite even before the contest began and Rotary Godhra boys too had reputation of giving a tough fight.
Both sides had a go at each other in the first half of the Times T20 Soccer tournament but Navrachana boys dominated the field on Thursday. Sarthak M netted first goal for Navrachana when he directly took cross shot in the 2nd minute.
Though under pressure, Rotary boys did manage to pierce the Navrachana defence a couple of times but they failed to capitalize. Siddharth Thakur of Navrachana scored a fantastic goal in 16th minute when he dribbled ball past Rotary players and punched the ball in nets.
In 19th minute, Navrachana almost sealed the fate of Rotary as Ansh S scored a goal straight from the box.
Sandeep Sharma of Rotary scored a goal for his team and managed to salvage some pride in the second half. Siddharth Thakur was declared player of the match.
