The Tamil version of the film starring Vikram is currently under the scrutiny of the censor board

The much-awaited film I, directed by Shankar is all set for its Sankranti release next year. Despite rumours about the film’s earlier release, producer N.V. Prasad, who has acquired the Telugu rights, confirmed that the film will hit screens during the festival season.
The Tamil film was submitted to the Censors office on Thursday evening and the Telugu version will be given a few days later. “Also, we are planning to launch the music in a few days of time.
We will confirm other details soon,” says N.V. Prasad. Vikram and Amy Jackson are playing the leads in I. The highlight of this film is that Vikram has portrayed three different characters.
