MAHWAH, N.J. — TD Bank said it has signed a multi-year agreement to provide a new branded private label credit card program for Top 100 company Raymour & Flanigan Furniture.

The card launched this week in the family-owned retailer’s 94 full-line showrooms, 11 clearance centers and online business.

TD’s Retail Card Services division will direct the program for the 67-year-old Liverpool, N.Y.-based retailer, which has stores in seven states. Raymour & Flanigan ranked No. 9 on Furniture/Today’s latest Top 100 list, with furniture, bedding and decorative accessories sales of just under $1.2 billion in 2013.

Neil Goldberg, the retailer’s CEO, said the credit card “has long been a critical part of the services offered to our customers,” and the company wanted to partner with a provider with a proven track record, first-rate service, innovative credit marketing programs and a range of financing options.

“In particular, we found a strong cultural fit between TD and our organization around the core mission of being completely focused on the customer. We look forward to partnering with them as we continue our commitment to building the preeminent retail furniture brand in the Northeast and beyond,” Goldberg said.

David Boone, TD Bank executive vice president, U.S. partnerships, said Raymour’s customer focus “extends to their private label credit card and we are proud to have been selected to take the program to the next level.”

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
