PwC elects Feargal O’Rourke as new senior partner

PwC has announced that Feargal O’Rourke has been elected as the firm’s new senior partner for Ireland to succeed Rónán Murphy.

Mr O’Rourke, whose four-year term begins next July, has been head of the company’s tax practice since 2000, during which time he has worked extensively with multinational firms, many of whom are based on the US west coast.

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, as well as being an associate of the Irish Tax Institute and a graduate of UCD, Mr O'Rourke has been a partner at the professional services firm since 1996.

PwC is Ireland’s largest professional services firm with total revenues of over €300 million on an all-Ireland basis. It employs 2,800 people locally.
