Moreover, she had to rush for a family dinner. Sonam was backstage and on her way out when Deepika walked in. They are absolutely cordial.”

For the uninitiated, the story of Deepika-Sonam’s on-off relationship goes back to the days when Deepika was dating Sonam’s rumoured ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor. After Deepika broke up with Ranbir, she and Sonam made an appearance on Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’ and made some pun intended remarks against Ranbir.

But on this year’s episode of the same talk show, Sonam Kapoor was seen not-so-pleased with Deepika’s success as she commented that she is a ‘good-girl-gone-bad’ and has an over enthusiastic PR team, signifying that things have gone sour between the two.

While we do know that two actresses can’t be friends for long, we still believe that the young actresses of today have it in them to change the rules. Will they?
