BAA delays action on Montsho doping case

The Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) has delayed the release of its verdict on Amantle Montsho’s doping case. The BAA is supposed to sanction the athlete for testing positive for a banned substance. The decision was due this week but so far, the association has not released anything.


BAA spokesperson, Glody Dube told Mmegi Sport yesterday that the decision should have been released by now but the process has not been finalised.

He said it takes time for a verdict to be reached because it involves a lot of processes and specialists.
