JAMMU, Dec 17: Chairman, OBC Cell of Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) Madan Lal Kashyap said that Congress party has done remarkable development, when Ghulam Nabi Azad was Chief Minister of the State.
Kashyap stated this while addressing public gatherings in different areas of Jammu province. He also highlighted the role played by Congress party in J&K.
He stated that BJP is raising hollow slogans only and did nothing to redress the issues of people especially SC, ST and OBC communities.
He impressed upon the people to vote in favour of Congress candidate from Raipur-Domana constituency Mula Ram and other Congress candidates of their respective constituencies.
Kashyap said that it is only Congress party which has kept the genuine demands of OBC community in its manifesto issued recently. Congress can play a vital role for forming the next Government in the State, he added.
He appealed the electorates to vote in favour of Congress candidates in fifth phase of assembly elections because Congress is the only party, which can mitigate the sufferings of the people.
Meanwhile, the campaigning group comprising of Behari Lal Sagoch, Mian Nazir Ahmed, secretary PCC, Advocate Rakesh Chadgotra, Shakti Kumar, Sham Lal Chadgotra, Girdhari Lal, Tara Singh and others conducted door-to-door campaign in different villages of Raipur-Domana constituency and sought vote for Congress candidate Mula Ram.
