NAGPUR: Hingna resident Kishore Kanhere, 45, was knocked dead by a speeding truck when he was going from
Waddhamna to Nagalwadi on Tuesday evening. Kanhere was going to his home at Nagalwadi on bike. Kanhere suffered injuries to his head and died on the spot, said police.
Wadi police have registered a case against the truck driver who fled with his vehicle after the accident.

Two held for assault over lewd remarks Sakkardara police have arrested Shaikh Khan and Mohammad Shahrukh, both resident of Azad colony, for allegedly assaulting Shahrukh Shaikh at Bada Tajbagh area on Tuesday night. The incident took place after the arrested accused passed objectionable remarks against Shahrukh Shaikh’s cousin.
