Patty Hearst is done mourning her husband Bernard Shaw, who died exactly a year ago this Thursday.
The world’s most famous kidnap victim was effervescent at the Christmas party her sister Anne and husband Jay McInerney, along with banker George Farias, threw at Doubles on Tuesday night.
Patty said she was heading to Baltimore to party with John Waters, who put her in five of his movies. Friends told her it was time to get back in front of the camera.
Kimberly Rockefeller told how harrowing it was co-driving with Patty in Europe in a Bentley rally. “It will take me a couple years to get back in a car with Patty,” Kimberly said.
Other guests included Police Commissioner Bill Bratton and Rikki Klieman, Chuck Scarborough, Carolyne Roehm, Anne Bass, Robert Zimmerman, Cornelia Guest and Donna Tartt, author of “The Goldfinch.”
