Woman hangs self in Vasundhara
GHAZIABAD: A 27-year-old woman was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her Vasundhara home on Tuesday. Investigation into the case is on but no FIR has yet bee registered. Police have said that the suicide note found near the body blames nobody.
Ruchi Saxena used to live with her husband and his brother in a rented flat in Sector 5. On Tuesday, when her husband, Anshul Saxena, an employee with a private firm in Noida, returned home from work, Ruchi didn't open the house door, following which he and his brother and a few neighbours climbed to the first floor of the house through the kitchen window.
They then broke open the bedroom door, which was locked from inside, to find Ruchi hanging from the ceiling fan.
Ruchi had got married in February to Anshul, who belongs to Patiala in Punjab. She had recently joined a real estate company, said police.
"In her suicide note she has blamed no one and sought apology from her parents for taking the extreme step. Her body has been sent for post-mortem and reports are awaited," said a senior police official.
