‘Godavari pushkaralu’ in five districts

The Telangana government will observe the ‘Godavari pushkaralu’ in five districts – Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Khammam – from July 14 to 25. The main pushkar ghats will be located at Basar in Adilabad, Dharmapuri and Vemulawada in Karimnagar and Bhadrachalam in Khammam. A total of 67 pushkar ghats will be constructed along the river in the five districts, Advisor to the government on Culture K.V. Ramanachary told media persons after a meeting to review the arrangements. The meeting was convened by Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma.
