Baby girl abandoned, rescued
A two day old baby girl, found abandoned with a fracture, at Puttur has been admitted to Regional Advanced Paediatric Care Centre(RAPCC), here on Wednesday.
MANGALURU: A two day old baby girl, found abandoned with a fracture, at Puttur has been admitted to Regional Advanced Paediatric Care Centre(RAPCC), here on Wednesday.
Dr Erappa S, RMO, RAPCC said the condition of the baby was fine. The baby has suffered fracture of the left humerus (shoulder).
The baby weighing about 2.4kg was abandoned on a stone block by the roadside at Kabaka in Puttur without any clothing.The baby was found by a woman residing nearby alerted by the wailing baby. The infant was taken to Puttur government hospital for treatment and later shifted to RAPCC.
