Slashfilm.com also wrote that whoever will be cast will be doing a "chemistry tests" with the "Maleficent" actor next week.

"It's clear that Disney isn't really interested in casting a major star, as none of these women are household names," the site speculated.

"Pirates of the Caribbean and Depp's Jack Sparrow are the big draws; they'll boost whichever actress books the part and not the other way around," Slashfilm went on to say.

Aside from the mentioned, "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will once again see the acts of Geoffrey Rush as Captain Barbossa. Also reported is Javier Bardem, who will debut in the franchise as the sequel's villain named Captain Brand.

Still unconfirmed is the reprisal of Orlando Bloom as William Turner.

The story, according to reports, is said to be about Captain Brand as a ghost "hellbent on getting revenge" against Jack Sparrow, whom he was blames for the death of his brother.

"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" is slated to hit the theaters July 7, 2017.
