Asaduddin Owaisi condemns Peshawar terror attack
Hyderabad, Dec 17: Local MP and chief of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday criticised the macabre attack in an army school in Peshawar in Pakistan that saw the killing of 141 people, including 132 children. In a tweet post, Owaisi condemned the gruesome killing of the schoolchildren and said the killers have no mercy or humanity and wanted them to be subject of the curse of divinity. [Pak PM Nawaz Sharif vows to 'clean this region of terrorism']
The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack. [India expresses solidarity with Pak: Schools observe 2-minute silence]
Indian Muslims criticised the ghastly act in sharp terms. While Aslam Ghazi of the Jamaat-e-Islami sought hanging of the "animals" who perpetrated the attack, Dr Zaheer Kazi, president of the Anjuman-I-Islam, said Islam never approved of such killing of innocent people and consider it as a murder of humanity,a report published in the Mumbai Mirror said.
The Students Islamic Movement, student wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami, also issued a statement condemning the attack.
