Prajna’s turning entrepreneur

A couple of months ago, the Mysuru Yuva Dasara had a scintillating end with a Sandalwood Nite featuring artists like Vijay Raghavendra, Ragini Dwivedi, Yogi, Harshika Poonacha and Sadhu Kokila, among others. Masterminded by Kannada actress Prajna, the show was a grand success, which has now prompted her to take event planning to the next level.
“This evening, I will launch my company — Live Spotlight Events — at a show that will highlight just what we have to offer.We are a team of about 15-20 people, who will organize all sorts of events, be it theme parties, weddings, corporate shows or celebrity functions, among others. We are aware that this is a space that already has a lot of market players, including others from Sandalwood, but in going with the tagline of our company — Your Vision Is Our Responsibility — we are looking at bringing innovative ideas to the table and making a difference,” says Prajna, who will ring in her birthday later tonight. The show tonight will be a dance-and-fashion extravaganza that will be attended by her pals from the industry.
Her new endeavour apart, Prajna has been busy honing her dance skills. A trained ballet dancer, the actress has been doing stage shows and is looking at expanding her repertoire with a classical dance form. “I have been training in Bharatanatyam and am looking at doing an MA in the dance form, following which I will do my arangetram,” says the actress.
