Chelsea booked their place in the last four of the Capital One Cup with a 3-1 victory over 10 man Derby County.

Goals from Eden Hazard, Filipe Luis and Andre Schuerrle were enough to give Jose Mourinho's victory, though Craig Bryson's goal with 20 minutes to go did make it an interesting finish for the home supporters.

The first half was marred by Kurt Zouma being strechred off after Petr Cech accidently clashed with the young defender.

Zouma's involvement in thequarter-final came to an end after a clattering from Petr Cech and his team-mates were keen for the young defender to quickly receive medical treatment.

Attempting to clear a Derby corner from Will Hughes, the Chelsea shot-stopper took man and ball with Zouma in his way and it was soon apparent his game was over.

He was on the pitch for more than five minutes and team-mates Cesc Fabregas and Cesar Azpilcueta were keen to lend their support to the medical staff at the ground.

Branislav Ivanovic was introduced as Zouma's replacement as the stricken defender was stretchered off to applause from both sets of supporters.

The Blues led at the interval courtesy of a goal from Eden Hazard.

Filipe Luis then doubled their lead with this brilliant free-kick.

Craig Byson gave the home crowd hope with 20 minutes remaining with this finish from outside the box.

However with eight minutes remaining Andre Schuerrle wrapped up the game against 10-man County with this rebound finish.
