Montenegro Industrial Production Falls Sharply In November

Montenegro's industrial production declined sharply in November, after rising in the previous two months, figures from the statistical office showed Tuesday

Industrial production tumbled 19.8 percent year-on-year in November, in contrast to a 8.2 percent growth in October. It was the first decline in three months and the fastest since June, when production plunged 26.4 percent.

Production in the manufacturing sector slid 18.1 percent annually in November and the utility sector output dropped by 28.8 percent.

Month-on-month, industrial production fell 5.6 percent in November, much faster than October's 0.3 percent decline. Production decreased for a second consecutive month.
