INDORE: A 24-year-old MCA second year student Rahul Kumar allegedly hanged himself inside his rented flat in city’s Sandipani Colony locality. The suicide note recovered from the spot mentioned that he had become Ghajini’s Aamir Khan.
Kumar, son of a college professor based in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand, lived with two other MCA students, Rahul Mishra and Sujit Kumar.
While Rahul Mishra and Sujit, who hail from Jharkhand and Bihar respectively, studied at a college in Rajendra Nagar, Kumar studied at a college near Dewas Naka.

Both his friends returned after appearing in their semester exam on Monday afternoon and found the flat’s door locked from inside. After repeatedly knocking at the door, when they received no response, they called their landlord, who cut through one of the windows to enter the room.
The trio was shocked to see Kumar hanging to death from the ceiling. The matter was reported to Rajendra Nagar police station, after which police rushed to the spot.
Rajendra Nagar police station in charge Kamlesh Sharma said the suicide note mentioned that Kumar was under severe depression and also experiencing short term memory loss. Rahul’s roommate Sujit, who hails from Aurangabad district of Bihar told TOI that the Hazaribagh resident was under severe pressure of exams, slated to begin from January 5 and was unable to cope with stress. “He studied till Sunday late night with us, but looked stressed,” Sujit said.
