Brisbane, Dec 16: MS Dhoni is set to break Syed Kirmani's 28-year-old record tomorrow when he takes the field in the second India-Australia Test here at the Gabba.

Captain Dhoni will become India's most-capped Test wicketkeeper tomorrow, surpassing Kirmani. Dhoni had missed the 1st Test in Adelaide due to injury.
Kirmani played in 88 Tests, from 1976 to 1986. Now, Dhoni, also on 88 matches, is set to overtake the legendary stumper on Wednesday (December 17).
The 33-year-old Dhoni made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in 2005. In 88 Tests so far, he has been the captain in 58. He holds India's wicketkeeping record with 280 dismissals (243 catches, 37 stumpings).
