JAMMU, Dec 15: Defeating Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua convincingly in the summit clash, P G Department, University of Jammu lifted the title trophy of the Inter-Collegiate Kabaddi Tournament, organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, Jammu University, here.
PG Department got better of GDC Kathua by 7 points (38-31) in a close contest.
Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu distributed the prizes among the winners and runners up teams.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr Brij Baloria, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Dr Balwinder Singh, Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia, Gagan Kumar, P D Singh, Jai Bharat, Vikesh Sharma and Goutam Sharma.
Matches were officiated by Ankush Gupta, Keshav Singh, Harpreet Singh, Ankush Sharma and Aman Deep Singh.
All the matches were conducted under the supervision of the Prof Bhau.
