RN Chopra Academy wins U-12, U-14 T20 Tourneys

JAMMU, Dec 15: Outplaying its rivals convincingly in the summit clashes, Col R N Chopra Cricket Academy lifted the title trophies in the Under-12 and Under-14 Cricket Tournaments at IIIM-CSIR ground, here today.
In Under-12, Col R N Chopra Cricket Academy defeated Jodhamal Public School by 68 runs.
Academy scored 169 runs in 20 overs, with Arya Suvansh Thakur top scoring with 40 runs, while Abhay Tandon, Jugjap Singh and Ritwik Sharma contributed 32, 23 and 16 runs respectively.
For Jodhamal, Vanamlin, Harish and Abu took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Jodhamal Public School scored 101/7 in 20 overs to lose the match by 68 runs. Harish scored 24 runs and Dhrub chipped in with 14 runs. For Col Chopra Academy, Umar Sadiq took 2 wickets Sachidanand, Jugjap and Yugan took 1 wicket each.
Arya Suvansh Thakur was declared man of the match and best batsman of the tournament, while Abhay Tandon was adjudged best bowler, Abu Bakar best fielder, while man of the series award was bagged by Dhrub Singh Parmar.
In Under-14 final, Col R N Chopra Cricket Academy trounced Sidhant Cricket Academy easily to win the title. Harsh Dev Singh and Sarthak Peshin scored 51 and 40 runs for Chopra Academy respectively. Harsh Dev Singh was declared man of the match and best batsman, while Jugjap Singh, Aryan Dogra and Aryan Gandral were declared best bowler, best fielder and man of the series respectively.
