JAMMU, Dec 15: 13th National Martial Arts Championship was organized by CAMAT India in association with Lion’s Club at Khatri Sabha in Pathankot.
Dr Pardeep Sharma and Sudeep Garg were the chief guests on the occasion. CAMAT India had invited the Freedom Society, an association of Sports and Martial Arts from Jammu to participate in the championship.
450 students participated in the championship. Karun Khajuria of Freedom Society won the gold medal, while the other medal winners from Jammu included Shivani Vijyal, Nageen Bhat, Sarfaraz Khan and Dhananjay Sharma from DBN Vidya Mandir Mubarak Mandi Jammu (all gold); Deepanshu Jamwal and Tajinder Singh (all silver) and Uday Jamwal, Rishab Bali and Chitvan Bali (all bronze).
From ACM Public School Janipur, Shenbaaz Ahmed won gold, Madhav Sharma and Urvashi Bakshi won Silver and Sahraan Ashraf Shah and Koushiki Sharma won the bronze medals.
