MUMBAI: A week after a senior Irani couple was murdered in their Dahanu farmhouse, dacoits struck at the farmhouse of an Irani couple in Gholvad village in Dahanu, in the wee hours of Monday.
As owner Yezdi Patel (49), his wife and son were away, masked thieves assaulted the guard at the farmhouse in Khunwade village, Gholvad, and left with Rs 10,000 and around 70 bullets of Patel’s licensed pistol.
Police suspect an insider’s as the dacoits knew the Patels would not return after dinner.
