Alexa Joel was Christmas shopping at Bergdorf Goodman earlier this month when she found herself surrounded by five male strippers who were dancing in various states of undress and blocking the exits.
“It was late, 7:45 p.m., and she was getting ready to leave the store,” said an associate of the daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley. “A friend she was shopping with asked security if they could help escort her through the back exit.”
The party allegedly was thrown by a Texas oilman for his girlfriend and her mother, and several store staffers took photos with cellphones. Bergdorf didn’t return calls.
