Fiat makes some of the best looking products in their respective segments but due to lack of a wider sales network and proper marketing, they have failed to attract the desired number of customers.
To push sales the Italian giant has announced attractive discounts on their 2014 lineup as well as older cars to the tune of a whooping 2 lakhs since December is usually a lean month for auto manufacturers as people push their sales to the new year.
So, here are the discounts…
- Linea, their mid-size sedan gives you a chance to get benefits upto Rs 2 lakhs. The older Linea is being offered at discounts of upto Rs 2 Lakhs whereas the new Linea also gets handsome discounts of upto Rs 1 Lakhs. Break-up for the New Linea is – gift cheque of Rs 35,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 and free insurance.
- Linea classic, also offers benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh, which consists of Rs 20,000 as gift cheque, Rs 30,000 as exchange bonus and free insurance.
- New Punto Evo, is being offered at benefits of up to Rs 65,000 (according to Facebook) while their website puts it down to Rs 30,000. The dealership in Delhi, which we contacted, gave a rather interesting break up of this offer. The base Active trim gets just free insurance. The Dynamic and Emotion trims will get you a gift cheque of Rs 20,000, exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 and free insurance.
- Avventura, which is their newest and largest selling model gets no such offers (as expected) and continues to attract the maximum attention at their dealerships.
So, if you have been planning to go for a Fiat car, guess this is a good time to head to your nearest dealership. And…do not forget to haggle a bit to get a good deal 😉
