Shell chief in Ukraine appointed board chairman of American Chamber of Commerce for 2015

Kyiv, December 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine has elected the new board of directors for 2015, which includes the CEOs of large international companies. Shell Chief in Ukraine Graham Tiley heads the board.

According to a press release of the Chamber, the board includes EBRD Director and Country Manager Sevki Acuner, P&G General Manager Antoine Brun, Managing Director at McDonald's Ukraine Grzegorz Chmielarski, Managing Partner at Baker & McKenzie CIS Serhiy Chorny, General Manager at IBM Ukraine Penko Dinev, Managing Partner at PwC Bryan Disher, CEO and Chairman of the Board at Citibank Steven Fisher and Country Manager at Cargill Mikhail Ganevitch.

The board also includes General Manager at Coca-Cola Roger Gauntlett, General Director at METRO Cash & Carry Klaus Rättig, General Manager Ukraine and Belarus at Sanofi-Aventis Jean-Paul Sheuer, CEO at Carlsberg Ukraine Evgeniy Shevchenko, Managing Partner at KPMG Andriy Tsymbal, General Manager at Microsoft Nadiia Vasylieva and Managing Director at Oracle Sergey Yanchyshyn.

The newly elected Board selected as well the Members of its Executive Committee: Graham Tiley - Chairman of the Board; Sevki Acuner - Vice-Chairman of the Board; Steven Fisher - Vice-Chairman of the Board; Jean-Paul Sheuer - Treasurer; and Antoine Brun - Secretary.

"The Board of Directors will continue to direct the organization’s operations, identify developmental priorities, supervise effective communications and information sharing platforms to improve the investment climate in Ukraine and to ensure protection of interest of the business community, united by the Chamber," reads the press release of the Chamber.
