Iran's exports to China hit USD5.97b in 9M


(MENAFN) According to a report released by ISNA, Iran exported 19.13 million tons of commodities worth USD5.97 billion to China during the March-November period, Iran Daily reported.

The released figures showed a drop of 7 percent in terms of weight and a growth of 30 percent in terms of value compared to the corresponding figures of last year.

Iran exported 20.682 million tons of commodities worth USD4.59 million during the period. The figures comprised 39 percent of the weight and 27 percent of total value of goods exported to China.

"68 percent of bilateral trade pertained to Iran's exports to China and the rest to Tehran's imports from Beijing. However, 65 percent of the figure pertain to China's exports to Iran," Vice president of Iran-China Chamber of Commerce said.
