Jeju Air to launch Daegu-Beijing route in February

(MENAFN) Jeju Air Co., South Korea's largest budget carrier, said it will become the first budget carrier to start flight services linking South Korean city of Daegu with Beijing in February of 2015, Yonhap News reported.

The company owned by Aekyung Industrial Co. said the three weekly flights on Monday, Wednesday and Friday will be offered from February 13th, 2015, adding that the B737-800 passenger jets are able to carry round 186-189 people.

"At present local airlines only operate flights linking Incheon, Busan and Jeju with Beijing, so Jeju Air's new service will provide more choice for travelers, " the low cost carrier (LCC) said.
