After Lingaa, it's Shivanna's Shivalinga

Rajinikanth has made waves with his latest release, Lingaa. The Tamil movie is enjoying a strong run at the box office, and amidst this come reports of Century Star Shivarajkumar's new movie, Shivalingaa — the name of which bears a striking similarity to Rajinikanth's movie — being launched today.
Despite them having similar sounding names, the story of the two movies is different. Lingaa is a period film, while Shivalingawill see Shivarajkumar playing a CID officer. It will be directed by P Vasu and has Vedhicka as the female lead.
The launch is slated to be held in Kanteerva Studio. The movie is said to have several entertaining elements in it and is being piped as being a crowd pleaser.
