Navan trainer Ollie Bray was back in the spotlight at Shelbourne on Saturday night as Bubbly Zeus won the final of the €15,000 Comerford Cakes National Puppy Stake final.

Making it extra-special for Bray was that he bred and trained the winner, and he also owned him until selling him to the Steve Fluin-led Champagne Club. It was on Bray's recommendation that the dog stayed in Ireland for the stake and he will now travel over to England next weekend with new trainer Paul Young.
