PSV Eindhoven remained a point ahead at the Eredivisie summit as they and nearest rivals Ajax both won on Sunday.
First-half goals from Luuk de Jong and Georginio Wijnaldum gave PSV a 2-0 home success against FC Twente, their 12th win in 15 games.
Ajax were just as comfortable in beating FC Utrecht 3-1. They led 2-0 inside 20 minutes through Thulani Serero and Davy Klaassen and though Rubio Rubin pulled one back, Anwar El Ghazi scored a minute after coming on as a substitute to make Ajax's win safe.
Feyenoord and AZ, fourth and fifth respectively, shared the points as Jordy Clasie's last-minute goal earned Feyenoord a 2-2 draw.
Nemanja Gudelj and Muamer Tankovic put AZ two up inside half an hour but Colin Kazim-Richards sparked the comeback and Clasie had the last word.
Tjaronn Chery earned FC Groningen a 1-1 draw against Vitesse Arnhem, who had led through Bertrand Traore.
