Jaya Bachchan attends opening ceremony of Pushpa Bagrodia's solo art exhibition in Delhi

COME TOGETHER: Many artists and art lovers in the city recently came together to appreciate the work of artist Pushpa Bagrodia at the opening ceremony of her solo art exhibition. Curated by Uma Nair, the exhibition was inaugurated by actor and politician Jaya Bachchan. Guests were seen admiring the pieces, which were all about nature and beautiful landscapes.
THE POWER OF OBSERVATION: Impressed with Pushpa’s paintings, Jaya was heard asking the artist questions about the colour scheme and other nuances.Jaya said, “I like paintings where nature is depicted. The artist has worked sincerely and it shows in her artwork.”
Pushpa told us, “It has taken me two years to put this together. Some of the artwork has been inspired by my travel experiences and the others are simply products of observing things around me. I love nature and it inspires me. Apart from painting, I also indulge in gardening as a hobby, which is why most of my artworks display the various aspects of nature.”
