JAIPUR: The ongoing construction work on
Jaipur-Delhi highway will be completed by June 2015. Union road transport minister Nitin Gadkari on Saturday announced that it would be smooth ride on Jaipur-Delhi highway by the end of June next year.
A lot of work under road construction will be done in the state, said Gadkari while addressing a gathering in Jaipur during BJP government's first anniversary celebration.
He announced that nine new national highways at the cost of Rs 4,000 crore will be constructed. The nine roads will be constructed at the cost of Rs 3,830 crore. The roads will be constructed between Nagaur bypass and Netra village, Netra and Mandor, Padi and Dahod, Karauli and Dholpur, Bikaner and Phalodi, Phalodi and Jaisalmer, Jaisalmer and Barmer, Jodhpur and Pachpadra and construction work will be done between Bagundi and Barmer. Moreover, an institute of driving training and research Railmagra (Rajsamand) and automated drivers training institute and skills institute in Ajmer are also coming up soon.
